Ritual Cue
A straightforward overview of the information Ritual Cue needs to keep your routines available, private, and in sync.
Data Ritual Cue Stores
Ritual Cue stores your account identity, checklist items, groups, notes, completion history, reminder settings, and sync metadata. If you sign in with Google or Apple, Ritual Cue stores the email address and display name returned by that provider.
How Data Is Used
Ritual Cue uses your data to provide account sign-in, sync, reminders, export, and account deletion. Ritual Cue does not sell personal data, use it for third-party advertising, or use it to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Local Storage
The iOS app keeps checklist data on your device so it works offline, stores app preferences in UserDefaults, and stores sign-in tokens in Keychain. The web app caches checklist data in browser storage for the same reason and stores the refresh token in an HttpOnly cookie. Do not use Ritual Cue for highly sensitive information unless you are comfortable with that local-device storage model.
Export and Deletion
Signed-in users can export their synced checklist data, restore from a Ritual Cue JSON export, or delete their synced account from the account screen. Restoring replaces the signed-in account's synced checklist data. Deleting the account removes server-side account, checklist, identity, and session records.
Service Providers
Ritual Cue uses Google and Apple for sign-in and uses the hosting provider for server, database, and delivery infrastructure. Those providers process data only as needed for app functionality.
